Some components of an evacuation chair naturally experience wear during regular operation. These include items such as textiles, belts, stair tracks and other soft or friction-based components. Because these parts are designed to perform under repeated use, they are covered under warranty for 2 years from the purchase date.

This approach is standard across the industry, and helps ensure users can easily maintain safe performance throughout the life of the chair.
